History of Success & Growth

Technomics’ Detroit office in Troy, Michigan has long been at the forefront of helping ground vehicle program executive offices (PEOs) and clients achieve their cost estimating objectives and requirements. Since 2006, Technomics Detroit has provided cost estimating and analysis support to the PEO for Ground Combat Systems (GCS) and the PEO for Combat Support & Combat Service Support (CS & CSS). In addition to supporting the PEOs, Technomics Detroit has continued to support other ground vehicle clients at the Detroit Arsenal in Warren, MI with their estimating needs, including TACOM LCMC and the US Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC). Technomics Detroit support has included the development of Lifecycle Cost Estimates, Business Case Analyses, Analysis of Alternatives, Earned Value Management Analysis and training, Independent Cost Estimates, and supplemental programmatic support.

New Territories & New Opportunities

In addition to cost estimating, Technomics Detroit has begun expanding its capabilities and offerings to its ground vehicle customers to include database design, data management, data analytics, and Operations Research support. This enhanced support has enabled US Army and Technomics cost analysts to locate, mine, and analyze data more expeditiously. By reducing the amount of time needed to collect and normalize data, Technomics-built tools and solutions allow our clients to maximize the time they spend on what really matters – high quality analyses that enhance high quality, impactful decisions.

A Strong Community Pillar Today & Tomorrow

Besides providing industry-leading support to its clients’ cost estimating and analytics needs, Technomics Detroit is highly involved with the Detroit Chapter of the International Cost Estimating & Analysis Association (ICEAA). Since 2018, Technomics Detroit has led a training curriculum designed specifically for defense ground vehicle market cost estimators from both the US Government and private industry. In addition, Technomics Detroit has spearheaded the development of a sub-organization of the ICEAA Detroit Chapter – the Data Analytics Working Group (DAWG).
