The end of the year is always a time for celebrations. It’s full of holidays, gatherings with friends and family, and the occasional dusting of snow in the DC area, or in this case for 2021, unseasonably warm holiday weather.  December also signals the return of the Technomics Holiday Party, an annual celebration of the end of another great year for employee owners.

HOLIDAY PARTY

This year’s party was held on Saturday, December 4^th at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, an upscale steakhouse located in the heart of DC. The over 230 vaccinated employees and their significant others once again had the place to themselves. The night kicked off with a Classic Old Fashioned tasting station, wine tasting from around the world, and a whiskey tasting station. Guests also enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres, a chilled seafood bar, and a four course seated dinner. With an open bar and DJ, the dance floor was full until the early hours of the morning. Technomics was more than excited to bring back the holiday party this year after not being able to gather last holiday season due to the pandemic. Technomics was also on top of their game regarding safety precautions to ensure a fun, and safe, holiday party.

HOLIDAY COOKIE EXCHANGE

In addition to the holiday party, employee-owners organized the first annual office cookie exchange where participants baked cookies, cupcakes, brownies, and other baked goods to share with fellow coworkers after work.  Everyone enjoyed the delicious treats along with drinks and each other's company.
