| Internships & Cooperative Education Opportunities |
We believe that internships and cooperative education opportunities are great ways for students to get a head start in the exciting world of Cost Analysis. Students work side-by-side with senior cost analysts and are introduced to a variety of tasks and skills, including building and normalizing databases, creating presentations, and client interaction.

| Entry Level Analyst Qualifications |
Since there is no “Cost Analysis” major, Technomics recruits from a wide variety of quantitative technical degrees (BS, MS, MBA, and PhD), including Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Operations Research, and Statistics.
Regular local travel, such as meetings with clients, is expected. Also, depending on the project, long-distance travel should be expected (2-3 days every few months).
Candidates will have a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0. Additionally, because of Department of Defense (DoD) security requirements, candidates must be US citizens and must have the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

- Calculus
- Desired Coursework:
- Micro/Macroeconomics
- Advanced Statistics (such as Nonparametrics or Design of Experiments)
- Econometrics
- Cost Accounting
- Finance I
- Engineering Economics
- Introduction to Programming
- A successful analyst possesses the following attributes:
- Creative problem solving
- Critical thinking
- Innovative
- Enjoys a variety of projects and tasks
- Interested in defense systems and technologies
- Strong spreadsheet modeling skills (Microsoft Excel)
- Affinity for analyzing data
