Technomics fully embraced the season of giving by holding its 10^th Annual Food Drive from October 28^th through November 12^th. For two weeks, Technomicians brought in non-perishable food items to be donated to Food for Others. With over 75,000 people in Northern Virginia considered impoverished, Food for Others works hard to provide and distribute food to more than 1,800 local families in need each week.

This year, Technomics exceeded its goal of collecting at least 600 pounds of food with a final weigh-in totaling 1,017 pounds! And a special thanks to those Technomicians that helped organized the event and to those that helped carry and load all the donated food on to a truck for transportation to Food for Others.

Overall, the Thanksgiving Food Drive was a huge success and it really showed how generous our fellow colleagues are.  We are so proud of each other! In addition, we are all very grateful for the pizza party that Technomics hosted to celebrate our accomplishment of surpassing our goal of collecting 600lbs of food.  It just shows that our good deeds do not go unnoticed around here at Technomics.

A food drive is such a wonderful way to kick-off the holiday season of showing that you care by sharing and giving.  We all are looking forward to the 11th Annual Technomics Food Drive next year!
